TICKET REDEMPTION


Tickets are required for all students and all guests age two and older.

Please note that student tickets are not guaranteed. Students being recognized at this ceremony must RSVP to attend and may claim up to two guest tickets in addition to their own student ticket, while supplies last.

Should Hill Auditorium reach ticketing capacity, students and guests will be able to view the ceremony via livestream at an overflow space in the Modern Languages Building.

Honors Convocation Ticket Redemption Process

Follow the below instructions to redeem your student and guest tickets using the Michigan Union Ticketing Office (MUTO) website for the March 29, 2026 Honors Convocation Ceremony.

Step 1: Activate your account/Reset your password

  • Enter your UMICH email address to reset the password.

  • Login to your UMICH email account and follow the link to reset your password.

Step 2: Log in to your account and claim your tickets

  • Once your password is reset, log in to the MUTO Honors Convocation Ticket Website, scroll down and begin claiming your tickets.
    • If you have reset your password ahead of time and have already logged in to the MUTO site, use this direct link to redeem your tickets.
  • Tickets are required for students and all guests ages two and up. Students being recognized at this ceremony will be able to claim one (1) student ticket and up to two (2) guest tickets while supplies last.
Step 2: Claim tickets
  • Click "Purchase" to proceed.

  • All guest tickets are free of charge. You will not be required to submit any payment information.

  • Review your order
  • Click "Buy Now" to complete your order. When the order is complete you will be redirected to a "Thank you" page and automatically receive a confirmation email to your UMICH email address.

Step 5: Receiving Tickets

  • Tickets will be sent electronically to your UMICH email address on Wednesday, March 25th.
  • To best prepare for entry, please share tickets with guests by forwarding the guest ticket email prior to arrival, as guests and students will enter through different entry points.
  • After all tickets have been shared, download your mobile tickets to your digital wallet before arriving at the venue to ensure efficient entry. Once tickets are downloaded, cellular service is not required to access or scan them. Please note that tickets downloaded to a mobile wallet cannot be transferred to another device.

Important

  • Your confirmation page is not your ticket. Your student and guest ticket(s) will be emailed to from muto-tix@umich.edu on Wednesday, March 25th.
  • All honor students must present their digital ticket and their UMID (or valid state-issued ID) in order to attend the ceremony and sit with their fellow honor students.
